Tell Me

Where and when does the story take place? How does the story start?
- The story takes place at the crime scene. The story starts when Grace ask one of her colleague where the victim is.

What is the plot of the story?
- I think, the plot in this story is to show how a Investigator has to think, to do the job.

Characterize the victim/the girl. What is her background?
- The victim is 16 years old, with blond hair, her nails are painted. She is wearing a mini skirt and a skimply top.
Well, we don't know anything about her bagground for sure, because Grace is guessing the whole time. Grace thinks that the girls father left her and her mother, when she was young. Her mother blamed her daughter, and started to drink a lot. The girl's mum had to bring a lot of men with her home, to pay the rent. One of the men chose to try his "prostitute's" daughter, and ends up exploiting her. She has also cut herself.

How would you characterize Grace McDoll's method of investigation?
- It is like she can talk to the death spirits, some kind of ghostwhisper. She talkes to the death victim, but actually is she just guessing from the tracks. She takes it all very calm, and don't get easily excited.

Find places in the text which suggest who the murderer might be.
- "I might have done. If it was him - your boyfriend - who did this to you." Here is Grace asking the victim direktly whether it is her boyfriend, who did it.

How and where does the real dialogue take place?
- In the start, as i wrote earlier, says Grace: "So, where is she?", and in the end is she having a small conversation with a colleague. And the story ends: "The dead always talk to me in the end.
